Streamline Snooze & Soothe Sweepstakes

AStreamline logos any parent knows, soothing a child's booboo is 10% relieving the physical pain and 90% addressing their mental and emotional trauma. Think about it, how many times have your kids “needed” a Band-Aid for their lightly scratched arm, an ice-pack for their merely tired feet, or an Ace bandage wrap for any ailment?

Of course there are often real infirmities –not just exaggerated symptoms, but sometimes you don’t know. Either way, it’s nice to be able to soothe your children’s physical pain as well as their mental anguish in a way that truly makes them feel better (read: takes their mind off the pain).

If you’re looking for kiddie comforts that are practical, cute and very effective, you can take comfort in these simple soothers from Streamline. Adding whimsy to sleeping and soothing, Streamline makes a number of “Wellness Buddies” to help your kids (and parents) deal with owies and other ailments. Here are a few that we’re proud to carry on The Organized Parent:

Streamline Jelly Pals Ice PacksJelly Pals Ice Packs
Homemade ice packs are too cold, too easy to open, and too boring. Put one of these gel-filled cold packs in the fridge and your kids will enjoy a much more comfortable temperature. Jelly Pals come in six fun animal figures: cow, hippo, frog, pig, monkey and panda. Added bonus: they glow in the dark, so they’re especially good for comforting bed-time booboos.

Sleeper Peeper Eye Masks
Eye masks are a great way to soothe small sleepers, especially when it’s light outside. The Sleeper Peepers are fun eye masks that kids actually want to wear. Your kids will enjoy the friendly and comfortable masks, and you’ll enjoy a few quiet hours while they’re taking their daytime nap or are conked out in the backseat of the family van.

Huggie Bear Warmer
Not to be confused with Antonio Fargas’ character in Starsky & Hutch, the Huggie Bear by Streamline combines warmth and aromatherapy in a cute corduroy stuffed bear. Warm Huggie Bear up in the microwave for half a minute and your kids can enjoy the soft, soothing, scented teddy bear.

(Have you heard about corduroy pillows? They’re making headlines! *rimshot)

The Organized Parent is proud to carry these cozy comforters from Streamline, and we’ve got a handful of free samples we’d like to give away. To enter the Snooze & Soothe Sweepstakes for a chance to win one of Streamline’s kiddie comforts, all you have to do is leave us a comment on Facebook or Twitter answering this question: What kiddie comforts do your children use? Or better yet, what helped you to calm down when you were a kid?

We’ll take entries for the sweepstakes for the next week, and reveal the randomly selected winners next Thursday. Good luck!
