With October’s chill in the air, it’s time for the World Series. Whether you’re throwing a party or listening to the radio in the garage, there’s something about the World Series that captures the spirit of fall. So, in the spirit of the World Series, here are some ideas on organizing the sports aspects in your life.
If you’ve ever taken your child to a sporting event they’re participating in, you know that you need to pack along a whole locker room – folding chairs, practice equipment, pieces of the uniform, water bottles, etc. Developing a checklist of things to pack at the beginning of the child’s sporting season helps to keep the chaos to a minimum, and makes it easier when you’re running out the door.
When you’re packing the car, it helps to have a cargo net to keep the equipment together. This also helps to keep the smaller objects (like baseballs) from rolling around and under larger objects (like blankets and strollers).
Whether you’re watching the winning hit of the World Series or watching your kid round the bases, you’ll smile a little wider knowing you’ve prepared for the day.
